We live in a world where there's a growing problem with bots, spam, hackers and scammers.  Thus to secure and protect our platform and your account we enforce 2 Factor Authentication (2FA).  For VPN users, our services are targeted towards New Zealander's only so we limit access to our services via New Zealand IP addresses only.

 

1. Account Security

When you first register an account with Side Hustle, make sure you have a TOTP app installed on your phone, tablet, laptop, etc.  You will have a limited time to connect your account with  your 2FA TOTP app before you will no longer be able to log into your account.  Just visit the Dashboard when you first login and follow the instructions to connect your account to your TOTP app to secure your account.

Below are a list of different TOTP apps you can install on our device.

  • Google Authenticator
  • Sophos Mobile Security
  • FreeOTP Authenticator
  • 1Password (mobile and desktop versions) See: 1Password help
  • LastPass Authenticator
  • Microsoft Authenticator
  • Authy 2-Factor Authentication
  • Any other authenticator app that supports Time-Based One-Time Passwords (TOTP)

 

2. Bots, Hackers, Spam & Scammers

If you come across any listings on Side Hustle you believe to be from Bots, Hackers, Spam or Scammers we suggest you report it to us ASAP so that we can investigate.  All listings and accounts that are linked to any of this activity will be deleted and blocked permanently.

 

3. Accuracy Of Listing Contents

We cannot be held responsible for the content listing owns provide in their listings.  If you find information that is inaccurate we suggest you contact the listing owners and inform them direct.

 

4. URL Links To 3rd Party Websites

We cannot be held responsible for links listing owners provide within their listings, re-directions from 3rd party websites or the content on these websites.  If you find a link from a listing owner that takes you to an inappropriate website you believe to be used by a hacker, spammer or scammer please report this immediately and we look into ASAP and take the appropriate action.

 

5. Listing Ratings & Reviews

We allow logged in users to leave reviews on listings for everyone's benefit and permit both good and bad ratings along with written reviews that are both constructive in praise and criticism.  Anyone caught abusing this system will have their accounts deleted, listings removed along with their email address and IP Addresses blocked.

 

6. Online Abuse

We will not tolerate online abuse in any way, shape or form and if you see or become a target for online abuse report this to us immediately.  Anyone caught abusing our services or other members will have their accounts deleted, listings removed along with their email addresses and IP addresses blocked.

 

7. Illegal Content

All listing owners must comply with New Zealand law and the listing or promotion of illegal content, product or service of any shape or form must be report to us immediately.  Anyone caught abusing our services will have their accounts deleted, listings removed along with their email addresses and IP addresses blocked.
